1953 was a very good year! And look what women and toddlers were wearing.
I love this dress but think you would have to have a very small waist to pull the look off. And everything was made out of cotton to be ironed. Women were so feminine back then. Picture Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor or Lana Turner. I bet they never wore sweat suits!
I remember my mother even looked glamorous during my growing up years. And all the years I went to school we never were allowed to wear slacks to school.
I love looking through the old newspapers at work especially the 100 year old books. It's definitely a perk of my job.
But no, I'll never give up the comfort of my t-shirts and capris... b
