golfing

You don't have to be a golfer (I'm not)
to enjoy this golf course.

I bummed a ride last week on Mr. b's golf cart as he golfed
the Bully Pulpit golf course in Medora, North Dakota.

The course is rated as one of the top 100 courses in the USA.
It's a beautiful course with fantastic views of the badlands

It was on our bucket list of things to do
but I'm afraid we aren't crossing it off.
We have to go back.

the shed

Backing up to last Thursday evening and our arts and crafts sale...

My sister and I rented this storage shed to sell our wares out of.
What a good idea right?
Renting out these For Sale sheds for an evening.

My sister and I just wanted to pick up our shed
and take it home...our wares intact.

It was a lot of work for one hot evening
but it is always fun to step back and admire all of our hard work.

show

My sister signed us up for a short art show this Thursday night...
I hope I can get some pictures of our shed to show you later.

Today it has been all about zipper pouches for the show.

Gotta go...too much to do yet.

Beach Bags

I delivered these beach bags to the shop yesterday.
I used an outdoor canvas for them.

The nylon handles will last forever.

Of course I couldn't decide between the blue or red fabric.
So why choose right? Just get both.

The lining is also a sea theme.

I CAN LEAVE THE SEA,
BUT THE SEA
NEVER LEAVES ME.

dedication

Looking out our kitchen window yesterday...

The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps from Casper Wyoming
made a practice stop here and entertained us for 3 hours.

Dedication is the word that comes to mind.

Members are required to audition for the corps each year and are accepted primarily based on their positive attitude, self discipline and dedication, in addition to their musical ability and marching skills. The corps is open to young adults from age 16 to 21.

It was humbling to hear them play America The Beautiful
in front of this decaying barn.

giddy-up

Having all granddaughters hasn't stopped
Dakota Man and I from working in a few boy toys.

Even a princess can use a horse and truck
don't you think?

Horse by Dakota Maid.
Truck and red stool by Dakota Man
I used Dakota Man's old jeans to make the bib overalls.

red white and blue

We took a spur of the moment camping trip
for the 4th of July holiday...

I have to admit that they are usually the trips that are the most fun.
Just throw everything in the camper quickly and go.

We had a great time!!
