I think life must have been very good at the Baxter household with maid Hazel at the helm. I know George probably made a lot of money as a corporate lawyer and his wife Dorothy as an interior decorator. I can't imagine what her salary might have been compared to what a live-in maid and nanny would cost now?
Guess I better stop dreaming and get busy.
Maids are highly over-rated.... The minute you leave they've got their feet up on your coffee table, watching All My Children on your big-screen t.v.
