Keep an eye out for them on the road.
The last few days has been a constant roar on
Interstate 90 with Sturgis Rally goers.
We have never been there in the thick of it...
it is party central for several weeks in the Black Hills.
Mr. b says we should go sometime...
NO THANKS.
This girl never learned how to party,
and it's definitely to late now.
We love to stand on the interstate overpass
and watch them cruise by.
They are friendly on their way to Sturgis...
but are pretty cranky heading back
after days of living on the wild side.

But no helmet?
5 bikers have already met their maker
on the highway to Sturgis.
And it has only just started.
Yup...no thanks.

We have a mini Sturgis here in Muskegon. Unbelievable . . . the bikes and people come from all over. Ours was just a few weeks ago and I know of some one who took off in a caravan for Sturgis. (Trailing their bikes until arrival.) I must admit . . . this is a culture I am totally oblivious of . . . and all of a sudden, a 100,000 of them!
ReplyDeleteI loved Rally time!! But no excuses for those that don't wear a helmet. I still have mine and will one day get to wear it again on my own hawg. :)
