I had to admire grandma's old butter churn

while I sewed a block for my Farm Girl Vintage quilt.

 

 

She's an old beauty alright.

And I bet grandma didn't have to lift weights

 to firm up her arms either.

She just made butter.

As you drove down country roads in the 1930's...

I'm sure you would see farm women  milking cows,

feeding chickens and gardening.

Sewing blocks for this quilt sure gets me daydreaming.
