I had to forsake my morning coffee
to sit on the grand jury.
I needed a clear head and
an empty bladder.
After 3 hours of hearing testimony about stupid criminals...
(and aren't all criminals stupid?)
I headed to the nearest drive up window for my coffee fix.

Three hours of stupid criminal testimony . . . yikes, and no caffeine . . .YIKES twice more . . . Have you listened to local news lately in your area? Is it criminal stuff or uplifting and positive? Do you have to return for more tesimony about stupid criminals?
ReplyDeleteI must respond to Lynne's question about your local news! I know all small towns are a lot alike and have their "Peyton Place" moments, but I have to give my sister BiG credits here for sticking it out so long. Her funny personality and sense of humor keep her positive and uplifting. She never let's bad news or stupid people get her down, I should know, she's always the first one I call when I need a good laugh!!
