lettuce make croutons

We eat and enjoy a lot of salads in the summer
 which gives me another excuse to make a loaf of bread 
for homemade croutons.


I make a nice herby loaf of bread in my bread machine using an assortment of herbs...
garlic powder, Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese and more.
I let my loaf sit a few days to dry out before I cut into cubes 
and season again with a good olive oil, more garlic and onion powder,
 sage and  my own dehydrated parsley.


Place on a cookie sheet in a single layer and bake for 6 to 8 minutes 
in a 450 degree oven.
Watch carefully, I don't like burned croutons.
