survival of the fittest

Hi! Thursday here on yet another dreary February day.
 
Last night I turned a gallon of milk into yogurt.
I call these experiments, "Just trying to get through winter."
 
 
I did a lot of research and chose a crock pot recipe
off of Pinterest that looked easy.
 
 
It's all about heat and temperature when making yogurt.
Make sure you have a good thermometer.
 
This morning we enjoyed it in my magic smoothies...
 
 
Tonight I will put it on my baked potato
and as a bedtime snack with homemade peach preserves.
