thanks

Just a few of the things I'm thankful today...

Neighbors that share their corn with you...
these same neighbors also watch our place when we are gone...
water our plants...
and always call me when my sheets that are on the line
 are hanging on the ground.
Small town living has lots of benefits.

I am finally getting tomatoes and green peppers.
I only plant a small raised bed garden and this year it has been a trial.

After a month of no knitting...
I finally felt like casting on a baby sweater.
I love variegated yarn.
All those sweet baby colors rolled into one project.

What are you thankful today?

  1. I am thankful for all of the visitors we have had and help we received. Our biggest blessing we are thankful for is our little girl and her continued health and happiness. :)

  2. We are up to our ears in corn too. Yes, something to be grateful for indeed! We put up 27 bags of it Friday, that was from a friends patch, hopefully the racoons will let us put up some of our own too yet!!

  3. I am thankful today for a day of "no plans" . . .
    WHEW . . . what a week . . .
I spent more days trimming, cutting, tossing, baking, cooking than I have in a very long time.
    I am thankful for a day of rest . . .
