Old bags

I was doing some much needed cleaning last week...
company always brings on a good cleaning session for me.

When I start a stitching project I like to keep it in its own bag.
Well...as I was cleaning I discovered a LOT of these bags.

So this week I am on a roll finishing up some of these
Projects in Progress
starting with these embroidered flour sack towels.

I filed these chef towels away because I didn't like
working on the thin wrinkled towels.
I am happy to report I have found a quilt shop
that sells thick and inexpensive flour sack towels.

I chose Mary Engelbreit colors for this coffee pot.

Now it's on to some crocheting for me.
I wonder which bag I have that project in?

  1. You have such gorgeous hand embroidery! I will soon be stealing some of your towels from you to replace my old, tattered ones. Hmmm....red chefs might be perfect......
