waste not

I don't like to waste anything...

food, time, yarn and especially

NOT fabric.

 

 

I bought the kit for this little quilt

and when I opened I remember thinking whoa!

this isn't much fabric.

The leftover scrap pile was pretty skimpy.

Maybe enough for a little patchwork bib?

 

 

or TWO!

WOW I'm impressed with myself.

 

But now I'm wondering

 if there is enough for a little pair of shoes?

 

 

YUP! AND with one square big enough for a burp cloth.

I had to dig out grandma's chenille scraps to back it however.

You should see what I can do with

 a whole rotisserie chicken!
