We love all the meatmarkets here in Texas. Afterall we grew up with meat markets.
I think most of us boomers can remember a Dodd's Market
or Mettler's Meat Market.
Not to mention the local bakery, a movie theater
and how about Habicht Clothing?
This morning we enjoyed peppered bacon with our eggs.
There was no shortage of flavor there.

Mr. Mettler would be turning over in his grave if he saw those prices! $36.88 a pound? We couldn't afford steaks when I was a kid and they were under $2.00/lb.
