Mt. Rushmore

We are camper cruising this week...

spending a few days in the Black Hills before heading for the Grand Tetons.

I never get over the grandeur of Mt. Rushmore.

I read that if George Washington had a body with this head it would be 40 stories high.

The Little Red Hen

This is the other half of that birdhouse I had Mr. b cut up.

Who didn't love The Little Red Hen book as a kid?

Our youngest granddaughter wasn't at all impressed 

that I had cut this book up.

She asked the pig:

"Will you help me plant this grain of wheat?"

"Not I!" said the pig.

Binding Betty

I saw these awhile back and decided I needed one for myself.

I couldn't find them anywhere to purchase and 

being that annoying  "I can make that myself " person 

I ordered balls and spools and did just that.

I call mine Binding Betty.

You wind your quilt binding on it 

and place it on the spool holder on top of your sewing machine.

No more binding all over your lap and on the floor.
