Yes, this peacock literally hangs around at the bar we were at

 and actually does walk inside.

Mr. b has been feeding the deer and birds 

that come out of the trees behind our camper.

                                    

This is our last week here in the Texas Hill Country.

Next week we will be moving our home on wheels 

down to the gulf.

 We picked strawberries yesterday...

along with a thousand other people I think.

This morning I put most of them in the freezer 

and then made myself a pint of strawberry preserves.

 It's also blue bonnet season here in Texas.

Slow days call for embroidering a fun flour sack towel

and knitting a dish rag.

Texas

 We made it to Texas and are enjoying the good life.

The first thing on my list was fresh fruit and vegetables.

I am going to learn how to make some killer grilled vegetables before leaving here.

 We will finally be headed south for the winter?

no...make that spring tomorrow.

With the second dose of Moderna in our arms we are breaking free.

She said two weeks and we can wear a mask or not.

I can't wait to get to the seashore!
